Why does it try to send the NEW password to your Current email address- which is LOCKED----- doesn't this totally defy the logic of getting around a blocked email account in the first place???
wtf?
She's forgot answer to the favourite question ASWELL...
so what should she do???

If she's trying to reset a password it shouldn't go to the actual email account....it should go to a page where she has to answer her secret question(s) which once done will reset it to a random pass.
Without the sercret question answers though it's pretty useless.
Could try and brute force it?

extol you numpty you cant bruteforce a locked account - its LOCKED - ffs and you work in BT support - ill send this thread to richard branson as a good advert for virgin

looks as though there is no getting around this....may have to set up a new e-mail account... she can't sign in.... its locked
she has forgotten her secret answer to the question.....
She tried to change her password - which got sent to the same LOCKED account.... which she can't access ..lol
there is no contact support number of any kind...

live.com will have a contact support form on it - it handles the Hotmail logins. How successful she will be is anyones guess....  I've no idea how she will prove she owns the account
