Different programs keep adjusting themselves on their own. Will be watching something on youtube for example, and the volume keeps going up and down all the time.
I can bring the mixer up on the screen and watch the sliders jumping up and down, mumble possibly (not found for definate yet) also seems to affect other volumes on the system, yet I can't find any way of sorting it.

Any clues?

All sorted, option in the expert config section of mumble.
Lowers the volume of other applications to suit volume of mumble output.
Switched off, job done.

Yup, I had that exact same problem. Had me perplex for a while until I realised that the sound softened when ever someone keyed up on mumble, then it was the frustrating case of find that setting to turn it off.
