Will be today hopefully I'll let you know once I've used it a bit but I'm planning on installing OS + currently playing games on the SSD, any other games I'm not playing at the moment I'll be storing on the normal 1.5T drive...then it's just a case of swapping from one to the other whenether I want to play them. The size + cost of the drive is the only shitty thing from everything I've read.

I thought there was still an issue with write endurance especially in relation to server applications. Maybe its got better in the past couple of years. I suppose if you got lots of memory to minimise swap file usage on an windows box the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.

i use them i have a 120 gig im my htpc, nothing too fancy 240 read, 80 write. but nice and quiet, never had any problems with it. and i have a samnsung 250 gig in the carpc, 300 read/300 write, nice and fast, but bloody expensive. I'm planning to put 2 250gigs in raid for speed in the gamerig when the price drops.
you do notice the speed, programs open quicker/load times etc.

ps, you should have at least 4 gigs ram and never defrag. but endurance is fine with the current generation drives. The one in my htpc has been running almost 24/7 for over 6 months and never missed a beat, and i dont renember the pc ever crashing or even hanging up.
