Where is best place to buy a Ps3? / value for money wise?
Looked in Game and Gamestation... seem to be going around £230-300 depending on what bundles you get...
tbh the only thing I'd want is the console, controller, 2 games of my choosing.... preferably some wargame like COD or MOH...... and Fifa 2011
how easy is it to fill up the HDD's? - do you put games on them or is it for media like photos and videos that I can easily avoid? (just wondering if its crucial to get over 250GB-350GB)

If you are into freeview, I'd recommend playTV highly. But if you get one then you will need a BIG Hd. I have 500GB in mine.

Second hand? Or supermarkets - get a tiny HDD one, as it's dirt cheap to replace them with a better one yourself (from what I hear).

If you want a new PS3, keep your eye on the deals in the run-up to Christmas I regret not getting mine the other year, as I lost out after saving into the following spring If you're going to download loads of films onto it (SD & HD films on PSN), then stick a new hard drive in - it doesn't affect the PS3 warranty at all, but they won't fix problems relating to the new disk obviously. As Chips said, if you go this route get a PS3 with a small disk or you're wasting money. If you can get your hands on a 60GB you're laughing, as they have 4 USB ports, PS1/2 & SD memory card slots, PS2 gaming support, etc. They run hot and need the dust hoovering out on a regular basis, however. Ask eKo about PlayTV, seeing as he's always on it...

hmmm i'm sort of shifting away from the idea of buying one..........just because recently I just downloaded Mafia 2, fifa 11 and batman....so I just re-remembered how good piracy was It's tempting me to just save up when I get another job for a PC...... However what would maybe tip me over the edge is if anyone can advise me about getting PS3's being chipped...or if I come across a really good bargain in the sales.
