i'd be inclined to do a full memory check..overnight.......also try doing a system file check from an admin dos box... sfc /scanow just to check you aint got any corrupt files...
updated anything recently...drivers...gfs... or updated windows auto?

[quote="nicey=GCHQ="]i'd be inclined to do a full memory check..overnight.......also try doing a system file check from an admin dos box... sfc /scanow just to check you aint got any corrupt files... quote] Is that the same as using the error checking tool in the harddrive properties (i.e same place as defrg)? no updates have been carried out recently, pc was running like a sack of crap on tuesday night tho, so i did the error checking on both HD's last night (had to watch telly with the missus while pc did the biz )

Yes. Also: 1. Clean your out your temp folder manually then run file cleaner and registry cleaner on these two apps. Glary Utilities CCleaner2. Run a full disk check. 3. Uninstall your video driver and see if it still does it. 4 Take your case off, reseat your power sockets and make sure a rat hasn't moved in.
