I've got a brought Region 1 DVD I want to convert to a Region 2 DVD, neither my standalone DVD player or my computer DVD players (Pioneer BD-RW BDR-205/ Sony DVD-RW DRU190S) will play it. Is there anyway to rip it even if they won't play.

if for some reason that program won't rip the dvd, you can set your dvd drives to a different region in device manager. you can only change it 5 times per drive though, after that it's stuck forever.
